Metfabs have over 30 years of experience in the design, supply and installation of all types of metal balustrades from ferrous and non-ferrous materials. These are commonly produced from all grades of polished stainless steel, mild steel with powder coated finish with a base finish which is usually galvanised if the product is to be used externally. Other materials less commonly used are Brass, Bronze and aluminium in a variety of finishes.
Popular infills for these, are toughened heat-soaked safety glass, which can also be supplied as laminated glass, allowing any broken piece to stay intact within the framing for additional safety. Infill panels from perforated aluminium or steel are also a practical choice.
Other types of infill can be stainless steel wire ropes and fittings. Bespoke fabricated infills are also popular. The above can be supplied to accommodate varying design loads dependent on the requirement.
Structural glazed balustrades are also a popular choice, without the need for any vertical support posts.
